The short version
- You don't need an account, and we don't ask for your name, email or financial details.
- The numbers you type into a calculator are processed in your browser and are never sent to us.
- Our hosting provider and advertising partners may collect limited technical data, as described below.
Calculator inputs
All calculations run locally in your browser. To let you bookmark or share a scenario, your inputs are stored in the page address after the "#" symbol. Browsers don't send that part of the address to web servers, so we don't receive it. Anyone you share the link with can see those inputs.
Hosting and security logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare'sprivacy policy.
Advertising
The site shows ads served by Google. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info.
- Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
If you're in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent through Google's certified consent tool ("Privacy & messaging") before personalized ads or advertising cookies are used. If that tool isn't available for some reason, a simpler consent banner on this site asks before any ad-related storage is used, and ads default to a non-personalized state either way. You can change your choice at any time using the Privacy choices link in the footer of every page.
We honor the Global Privacy Control signal: if your browser or extension sends it, we treat that as an opt-out of ad personalization automatically, with no need to click anything.
Analytics
We don't currently use analytics cookies. If we add privacy-friendly analytics, we'll update this policy and, where required, ask for consent first.
Children
This site is intended for business owners and isn't directed to children under 13.
Changes
We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the "last updated" date above.
