What does that funding really cost?

Free calculators that turn factor rates, fees and lease quotes into numbers you can compare. No sign-up, and your figures never leave your device.

Why these numbers are hard to compare on your own

Business financing isn't priced like a consumer loan. A merchant cash advance quotes a factor rate instead of an interest rate, a short-term lender quotes a total payback instead of an APR, and fees can be deducted upfront, added to the balance, or paid separately. Federal Truth in Lending rules, which force a standard APR onto consumer credit, generally don't apply to business financing at all. Every calculator here takes whatever a provider quoted you and converts it to the same two numbers — an estimated APR and a total dollar cost — using the actuarial method set out in Regulation Z, Appendix J, so an advance, a term loan and an SBA loan all land on a scale you can actually compare.
